The “Milla” Chamomile Liqueur from Marolo is obtained from the infusion of carefully selected chamomile flowers in Nebbiolo grappa.
With its calming and digestive properties, it has a straw-yellow color with light green reflections. At nose it develops intense aromas of chamomile, pear and hazelnuts. In the mouth it is sweet and intense; thanks to these characteristics it is perfect to drink in combination with dry pastries or alone served cold or iced.
The peculiarity of this distillery is the production of Milla, a liqueur obtained by the chamomile instilled in the Nebbiolo: this liqueur has been created in order to satisfy the exigencies of young people, that appreciate a lot the taste of it. In 1977 Paolo Marolo decided to build a distillery in Mussotto, a small village near Alba. The passion of Paolo Marolo derived from the idea of a College Professor, who wanted to refresh the liqueurs, and above all the grappa’s tradition. Today this distillery is directed by Paolo Marolo and his son Lorenzo, who shares with the father the interest for every kind of grappa.
