Champagne Blanc de Blanc 2009 Deutz

The Champagne Blanc de Blanc of Deutzis an excellent sparkling wine produced exclusively with handpicked Chardonnay grapescultivated in the renowned areas of Avize, Le Mesnil-sur-Orger and Villers-Marmery.

On view, it shows a nice and intense straw yellow color with a fine and persistent perlage. At nose it gets off a fine and complex bouquet, with citrus scents of lemon and orange peel, in addition to notes of white fruits on the background.

Elegant and pleasantly fresh in mouth, it is an excellent wine to drink fresh as an aperitif or in combination with refined fish dishes, crustaceans and seafood.

The demaine Deutz was born around 1838 in Ay, in the heart of Champagne region in France. It is born from an ideas of Wiliam Deutz and Pierre Geldermann, initially like a small winery and then has been expanded both in Ay surroundings and in the Cote des Blance. Actually , it produces around 600.000 Champagne bottles per year. Today, the property is for the most part of the renowned French winey Louis Roederer, that has modernized and restored the cellar, starting from work in the vineyard until the quality control carried out by famous enologist Fabrice Rosset.
