More info

The Amarone della Valpolicella Vigna Garzon by Pieropan is produced with a blend ofCorvina (60%), Rondinella, Corvinone and Croatina (35%) grapes in addition to 5% of Valpolicella traditional grapes, cultivated with certificated biologic methods in Cellore d’Illasi district, on the Garzon hills. In the glass it shows an intense ruby red color. In the nose the bouquet is ample and composite, with red fruits jam, black berry and plum notes. The taste is complex and sapid, pleasantly and fresh, with important tannins that gives it a great structure. The Amarone della Valpolicella Vigna Garzon is perfect if drunk with game, roasted or braised red meats and aging cheeses. This wine is very suitable for long-lasting aging.

Manufacturer

The Pieropan winery was founded by Gustavo in the faraway 1884; thanks to the determined attention to the work in wine yard  and the selection of the best grapes, this winery produces excellent wines that introduced the Soave all over the world. The fundamental imprinting was given by his nephew Leonildo (with an unique style and innate vocation and dedication) which was been able to enlarge and revolutionize the Pieropan winery. The passion for the wine, handed down by the Founder Gustavo, is continuing so that the winery now is managed by Leonildo and its sons, Andrea and Dario, respectively agronomist and enologist.
