HENRIOT
In the world of Champagne, this house holds a special place: its history is closely linked to that of Champagne itself. It was founded in 1808 by Apolline Godinot, widow of Nicolas Henriot, who decided to market the very private Henriot Champagne, produced by her father in Bouzy. With a 35-hectare vineyard, Maison Henriot produces its champagnes partly from the finest Premier and Grand Cru terroirs. With a specific aging period and a carefully selected amount of reserve wines for each cuvée, Henriot champagnes are distinguished by their finesse, exceptional elegance, complexity, and dazzling richness. The Blanc de Blancs is the emblematic cuvée of the house, reflecting the richness of its terroirs and the Henriot family’s exacting approach to Chardonnay cultivation. Still family-run, Maison Henriot has cultivated its pursuit of excellence for eight generations through its savoir-faire, bold choices in winemaking, and international development.
