The Bastianich winery, founded in 1997, tries to understand the history and culture of Friuli-Venezia Giulia in order to create unique wines that speak about the area and at the same time show remarkable power and balance. A great attention is given to the terroir, a collection of anthropic and environmental factors. The Tocai Plus is considered as one of the best wines produced by the Bastianich winery: it’s made with late-harvest and dried fruit from a single-vineyard of 60 year-old vines.
