Pira Luigi winery is located in the heart of Langhe, in Serralunga d’Alba. Its roots are very ancient: it was established in the 1800s and represents one of the international personalities of Barolo, contributing to spread and increase Serralunga wine excellence throughout the world. Founded by Luigi Pira, the winery has consolidated its reputation over the decades thanks to the deep attention and care to quality both into the vineyards and in the vinification cellar. Over the time, the winery has grown and now Gianpaolo, Luigi’s son, ih the heir and the current tenant of 12 hectares of vineyards, all grown using sustainable methods. the most representative wine is surely Barolo: the winery owns different plots in the famous crus Vignarionda, Margheria and Marenca. The range of wines produced is also made up of Barbera d’Alba, Langhe Nebbiolo and Dolcetto d’Alba. Luigi Pira wines are highly appreciated both in Italy and abroad, and represent a perfect synthesis of elegance, complexity and authenticity, along with a strong reference point for Barolo lovers.
