GRACI
The Graci winery is located in Passopisciaro, on the northern slope of Mount Etna, in an area with a millennia-old winemaking tradition, historically one of the most suitable for vine cultivation, particularly of the native red grape varieties: Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio. All the estate’s vineyards, totaling 30 hectares, are situated in the heart of the Alcantara Valley, in Contrada Arcurìa, Contrada Feudo Di Mezzo, and Contrada Barbabecchi, at an altitude between 600 and 1,000 meters. Production focuses on Etna’s native grape varieties, minimizing vineyard interventions and avoiding the use of chemical herbicides. The winery’s philosophy is aimed at highlighting the unique characteristics of each terroir and the distinct traits of each vintage, offering wines with a strong personality. The vineyards are certified organic and managed with low yields to enhance the aromatic concentration of the grapes. In the cellar, careful and gentle winemaking techniques are employed to preserve the varietal notes of the grapes and create wines that authentically reflect the Etna territory.
