Marcalberto Farm is a small family-run winery in Santo Stefano Belbo, founded by the winemaker Piero Cane, producing exclusively Classic Method sparkling wines. Since 1996, management has passed to the brothers Marco and Alberto, who passionately oversee every step of the winemaking process. Marcalberto’s vineyards are entirely planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, covering 9 hectares across the municipalities of Calosso, Cossano Belbo, and Santo Stefano Belbo, on marl-limestone soils at altitudes between 300 and 500 meters. The winery, housed in a historic 19th-century stone and tuff building, produces over 30,000 bottles per year of Classic Method sparkling wines, reflecting the Cane family’s values of authenticity and transparency.
