The property was built in 1992, later than the other Burgundy estates. In spite of the lack of wine-makers in the family, Francois Mikulski managed to enter in wine branch, because he did not want to continue his Polish father’s career. In fact Francois believes that often sons do not want to continue their father’s work, and in that moment the family philosophy breaks.For Francois himself was easy to pass from a family sector to another one, because he managed to change what he wanted. Together with his wife, Francois was able to change the bottles’labels, by creating some innovative ones, compared with the Burgundy traditional ones.Nowadays Domaine Mikulski covers 8,5 hectares, all rental, while the vineyards are situated in Meursault and other near districts.
