This is an elegant white wine produced with the Chardonnay’ and White Pinot’ s grapes picked up in ventilate vineyards thanks to the influence of Garda’s Ora: these vineyards are collocated in altitudes that go from 300 to 700 m.s.l.m. The wine has a straw yellow colour with some green nuances, and it has rich aromatic and vegetal smells, with some vanilla’, hazelnut’, straw’, musk’ and stone’ hints. Moreover this white wine has an own character, at the same time dry and with a perfect structure that is balanced thanks to a right acidity: in fact this wine can bear the aging in bottle for many years. Eventually this kind of White wine is perfect with a big variety of fish, above all the backed and the grilled one, in addition to first courses and white meats.

Pojer and Sandri’s cave arises in 1975, thanks to a meeting between Fiorentino Sandri and Mario Pojer, who wanted to launch a winery to produce high quality wine, starting from the vineyards situated between the Adige and the Cembra Valley, in Trentino. The first wine, produced in 1975, was a good Muller Thurgau, endowed with an elegant and precious taste, followed by the Chardonnay’s production. Little by little the cave increased its sizes, up to the present 26 hectares of vineyards, arranged on 6 different districts. In 1982 a distillery was built , and this was one of the first to produce grappa: all the spirits, the brandy and the other grappa derive from the regional raw material produced in the cave, as currant or quinces. Recently the cave has gained lot of success, following the creation of a new kind of wine, the Merlino, a specialty to combine with chocolate.
