The Riesling of Basserman Jordan is an excellent white wine made by organic cultivation methods.
With a beautiful straw yellow color and greenish nuances, at nose it shows fruity and mineral notes, with hints of of apple, apricot and ripe peach.
It is wide and fresh, with a delicate acidity and mineral notes on the final.
It is the ideal wine to drink fresh in combination with seafood dishes, grilled fishes, risotto with vegetables and pork roasts.
Manufacturer
The Basserman Jordan winery was founded in 1700’s and is located in Deidesheim, Germany's Pfalz region. Actually, the enologist Ulrich Mell manages the demaine that owns over 46 hectares of vineyards, all with organic certification. The vinification is done both in wood and in steel, following biodynamic methods. It is a point of referene for all Riesling producers since 90’s; today his signature wine is the renowned Riesling Jesuitengarten "Grand Cru", that is a wine with a great intensity and aging potential.
