Roero Arneis Riserva Vigna Saglietto by Malvirà is and organic white wine made with 100% Arneis grapes coming from the namesake cru in Canale, Roero. It is bottled since 2018 and the aim is granting a truthful and wide expression of the territory, so the ageing is made both in steel tanks and oak barrels for 10 months. In the glass it reveals a bright straw yellow colour with golden shades. The bouquet is wide and intense, with notes of white fruits, honey, vanilla and toasted almond. The sip is soft, elegant, enveloping where hints of yeast and saffron come along with an elegant honey sensation. We recommend Roero Arneis Riserva Vigna Saglietto with typical Piedmont starters, grilled fish and semi-matured cheese.

The Malvirà wine production starts in the ‘50s under the leadership of Giuseppe Damonte. Giuseppe Damonte loved its soil and he realized that Roero could be have a big potential. Today the Malvirà leadership is of the Giuseppe sons, Massimo and Roberto, who have the same dream and passion of his father. Over time, the wine firm is grow and gets new market, but the conduction remain of the family.
