Franciacorta docg Satèn Cavalleri 2019 Bio

The Franciacorta Satèn by Cavallery is a top expression of the Satèn appellation, first introduced in 1990 in Franciacorta, to recall the silky smoothness and "satiny" color of this wine, given by less sugar added in the liquer de tirage. Made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the sunniest vineyards, it has a beautiful straw yellow color and golden highlights. The bouquet is refined and intense, with hints of white flowers and ripe white fruit in addition to light hints of acacia honey and vanilla. It is a sparkling wine with fine and persistent bubbles, ripe, soft and round, with a full and complex flavor. Endowed with pleasant freshness and exceptional persistence, the Franciacorta Satèn by Cavalleri is perfect to accompany the whole meal or paired with fish, shellfish and seafood dishes.

Already in the far 1400 Cavalleri family was owner of lots of territories in Erbusco, in Lombardy.Only in 1968 the cave began to label wines, and in the same year it began to be managed by Gian Paolo and Giovanni Cavalleri; they build a new cave, by introducing more innovative productive means and above all they were able to produce Franciacorta wines. Today, this cave is managed by Giovanni’s daughters: the present purpose is to produce wines with an inimitable style.
