This great wine was born on the hills of Valpantena, by selecting the best grapes coming from the best vineyards. The colour of this wine, called “Villa Arvedi” is an intense ruby red one, with some purple reflexes; its bouquet is instead intense and various with floral and fruited hints of violet and other flowers, of cherry, red fruit’s jam, mixed berries and dry fruit. If you taste you, you are surely astonished by its softness and great balance, besides by its charming and tannins. For this reason this wine is excellent in combination with braised or stuffed meats, game and seasoned cheeses, This wine owns a good capacity of aging, too.

The cave arises in 1857 in Verona and it was established by Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani. The importance of this cave is that it was one of the first Italian wineries to understand the value of the wine in bottles: for this reason lots of investments were made in the vineyards, in order to bottle and export Italian quality. Today Bertani is a cave that places its wines in the world: moreover it includes vineyards abd caves of Valpolicella, in addition to some territories in the Garda’s Lake.
