Torbato

The Torbato is a white vine variety, belonging to the Malvatiche grapes family, which is part of the Doc Alghero. The Torbato is a vine variety characterized by a late ripening and a variable productivity. It is said that the Torbato has Asian origin and that the Crusaders returning from the Terra Santa brought it. It a wine of medium and long drinkability. It has a good structure and a straw yellow color, a little bit perfumed and with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste.
