In 1849 Yalumba was established in the famous Barossa Valley in the Southern Australia, by the Englishman Samuel Smith, who moved away to Australia, because he wanted to change life. Yalumba is the eldest Australian cave, which embodies all the success of the Australian wine’ history. The name of the cave, Yalumba, was adopted by Samuel Smith, and in Aborigine language it means ‘all the surrounding land’. In the last years the request of Yalumba wines is grown in an enormous way to exceed the productive capacity of this winery.
