Domaine Morey-Coffinet is managed by Thibault Morey and is located in Chassagne-Montrachet, in the heart of Burgundy, France. The winery has a very long history, with its walls dating back to around 1500. Although modest in size, the estate boasts about fifteen appellations within the commune of Chassagne-Montrachet, where Chardonnay reigns supreme, producing excellent Premiers and Grands Crus.The domaine was born from the union of two families and their respective properties, and today the entire estate is led by Michel Morey and his family. The property covers approximately 9 hectares, situated in some of the most renowned crus of Chassagne-Montrachet, with around 70% dedicated to Chardonnay and the remaining 30% to Pinot Noir. Currently, about 14 different wines are produced from these two grape varieties. The goal of Domaine Morey-Coffinet is to produce elegant, expressive wines that authentically reflect their terroir, making them one of the most refined expressions of Burgundy in the world
