The Franciacorta Parosé of Mosnel winery is produced with the best Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grapes and ages 36 months on its yeasts in bottle, before being put on the market. Complex and harmonious wine, on view it shows an elegant amber colour with rosé nuances of onion skin colour. In the nose, it develops a balanced and charming bouquet, with crispy notes of bread crust, followed by hints of small fruits and wild flowers and slightly spicy notes. Sparkling wine with a well-structured body and a good longevity, it is characterized by a dry and savoury flavour, intense and involving with a balsamic aftertaste. It goes perfectly with fish courses, but you have also to try it with meat courses.
In the heart of the Franciacorta, in Camignone, is situated the centuries-old house, that the Barboglio inherited in 1836. In 1976 the cave acquired the name of ‘Mosnel’: this word has a Celtic origin and it means heap of stones, on which the cave is collocated. Today the winery is managed by the fifth generation: the manager is Giulio Barzanò, who works in the productive and commercial sector, while his sister Luciana Barzanò controls the administration of the ‘Mosnel’. So the cave ‘Mosnel’ proposes a style of life, that goes to the discover of the nature and it pursuits what is good and beautiful.
