Magis Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc Rotem et Mounir Saouma 2015

The winery Lucien Le Moine is a small Maison founded in Beaune in 1999 by Mounir Saouma and his wife Rotem. Both of Lebanese origin with educational and working experiences in France, have chosen to give life to their ambitious project to produce wines in Burgundy, which soon became among the most renowned and sought after. They landed in the Rhone Valley  In 2009 and began their adventure with the acquisition of some vineyards at Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc Magis is a beautiful white wine, characterized by its purity and typicality and characterized by a floral and fruity bouquet, with aromas of peach and white flowers, honey and light spices. In the mouth, it is an elegant and mineral wine, concentrated and with a long final. It is perfect to drink in combination with main courses of fish or white meat.

Both of Lebanese origin with educational and working experiences in France, they have continued to invest in the area by acquiring several vineyards, including the liu-dit Les Gres and the vineyard Les Serres. The philosophy of Souma is to make a careful selection of terroirs so that these are able to fully convey the individual peculiarities to their wines. Careful and meticulous work is done in the cellar; the wines produced are characterized by purity and typicality and characterized by an excellent finesse and complexity.
