Champagne Millesimé 2012 Grand Cru by Lallier is an elegant blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes coming from Ay and Côtes des Blancs vineyards. The ageing lasts 60 months on the lees and the wine is enriched with a unique structure and balance. For this reason, this label is included into the "memory collection" of Domaine Lallier. In the glass it has a beautiful golden yellow colour with bright shades; the perlage is subtle and vivid. The bouquet is complex, elegant, with scents of exotic fruits, dried grapes, pastry, brioches. The sip is balanced, mineral and fresh, never aggressive or overcharged. The aftertaste is persistent with notes of honey and almond. Its exceptional balance makes it perfect during the whole meal. We recommend it with raw fish, blue cheese or fresh fruit tarts.
Maison Lallier is located in Ay, one of the first municipalities of Champagne region classified as Grand Cru. René Lallier, husband of the heir of the family estate, founded the Maison in 1906. Since the Ninetees, René-James Lallier, nephew of the founder, made important renewals about the vinification process. During those years, the young oenologist Francis Tribaut worked with René for the first time to manage the vineyards. He worked as consultant until 2004 and then became the owner of the whole property with the iam of spreading and increasing its esteem. Nowadays, Maison Lallier counts about 400.000 bottles per year. each of them is characterized by the care and the highest quality during the production process, from the vineyards to the bottle.
