Nebbiolo d’Alba doc Brovia 2019

Nebbiolo d'Alba by Brovia is a famous red wine, made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes harvested in sandy soils. The presence of sand gives the wine a particular refinement and elegance. In the glass it is bright ruby red with semi-transparent perceptions. The bouquet is various, crackling, with hints of red fruits, violet, wild rose and a hematic scent. The mouthfeel is fresh, enveloping with gentle and fine tannins and a persistent aftertaste. Nebbiolo d'Alba by Brovia is recommended with Piedmont traditional cold cuts, meat-based first courses, grilled meat and semi-matured cheese.

The Brovia winery was founded in Castiglione Falletto in 1863 and it’s one of the oldest reality of the Langhe hills. All the grapes come from their own vineyards, located in different hills of Barolo and cultivated following biological methods. All phases of viticulture are followed scrupulously; after ageing in the cellar, the wine is bottled without filters in order to keep better its characteristics connected to the "terroir".
