Red wine produced with grapes coming from the so-called “Vigna dell’Erto” in Treiso d’Alba. This wine presents a wonderful ruby red colour, with some purple nuances, while its perfume is fresh and fruited, together with some hints of mature cherry and currant. It is a fragrant wine, endowed with great body and structure, with some scents of spices, and mature fruits. Thanks to these characteristics, this wine is perfect if fresh served in combination with typical salami of Piedmont, medium seasoned cheeses and roasts.

From generation to generation the Abrigo family devotes himself to vineyards’ plantation: in fact Giovanni Abrigo, Orlando’s son, began to work with his father in the familiar vineyards in 1988. Presently the Abrigo’s cave, situated in Treiso, works on a surface of 20 hectares of vineyards: a part of them are destined to traditional wines’ production, as Barbaresco and Barbera, even if the other part of vineyards is destined to new vineyards.
