More info

The Barbera d'Alba of the Comm. G. B. Burlotto winery is a fresh and fruity red wine that appears at the sight with a great ruby red color. To the nose it is elegant with notes of red fruit, cherry in spirit, berries, but also spicy and tobacco. The taste is dry, quite tannic, persistent and with a marked acidity. This Barbera is an excellent wine to drink in combination with meat courses and board of excellent cheeses.

Manufacturer

Burlotto

The Burlotto winery is located near Verduno and was founded by the commendatore Giovan Battista Burlotto in the second half of the 19th century; the wines produced became a reference point in the Langhe soon. This was also thanks to the farsightedness of Giovan Battista, who began to sell wines in bottle in a period in which the wine was sold exclusively in demijohns or kegs. The current owner today is Marina Burlotto, which has 12 hectares of vineyards located in the area of Verduno, Barolo and Roddi, from which obtains an average production of 60,000 bottles.
