This Dolcetto d’Alba is produced on the Langhe and La Morra hills, and it does not undergo the sharpening in wood in order to maintain the freshness and the typical character of this kind of wine. Like the other Dolcetto, it presents a ruby red colour with pleasant yellow-crowned nuances, while the perfume is intense and persistent and it offers floral and fruited sensations of red fruit and brush, besides vanilla and cinnamon. This is a pleasant and inviting wine and it is excellent together with every kind of Italian and International platters.
Marcarini’s winery is collocated in the heart of La Morra and drags along an old tradition. Marcarini family began to produce wine in the second middle of 800, but only in 1970 the notary Giuseppe Marchetti had a great idea: it was necessary sell and export the wines. Today the winery is managed by Manuel Marchetti and Giuseppe’s niece, Anna Marcarini Bava, who work in the familiar vineyards, that are about 20 hectares. Moreover they are dynamic in the respect of wines’ production.
