More info

The Paolo Scavino Barolo Carobric was born in 1996 like a combination of different wines that originate from three different Barolo cultivation areas. Thanks to a refine vineyard work, this wine has an absolute elegance and complexity.

The Barolo Carobric has an intense ruby red colour with orange reflexes, while the aromas are complex, fruity and floreal with violet, dog rose, red ripen fruity, tobacco and licorice notes. It is elegant and soft with a long persistence and a great structure. This wine is perfect if drunk with red meat course, duck chest, game and aging cheeses.

Do not forget that the 2010 was a very great vintage for the Barolo wine. To drink, to conserve and to collect.

This cave was founded by Lorenzo Scavino and his son Paolo in 1921 in Castiglione Falletto. The winery counts about 23 hectares of vineyards, that allow the cave to sell 120000 bottles every year. Nowadays the wines’ production is managed by Enrico Scavino, together with his two daughters. The Scavino’s winery is known for its care and attention and for the belief that the viticulture is more important than the oenology. The wines distinguish themselves for the purity, the elegance and the twine of traditions and territories.
