More info

The Barbaresco Gaiun Martinenga by Marchesi di Gresy is a wine which owns a great structure and elegance; it was born in 1982 and it derives from a selection of Martinenga vineyard in the “Asili” territory. This wine is produced using only the best years and it presents a brilliant dark red colour, with the add of some orange nuances. The bouquet is intense and balanced, with scents of currants, jam, violet, sweet tobacco and chocolate; furthermore, the taste is harmonic and rich, in fact it is possible to recognize the freshness and persistence of it. The Barbaresco Gaiun Martinenga by Marchesi di Gresy can be drunk together with important platters based on red meat, seasoned cheeses and first courses rich of flavours.

Manufacturer

The estate Martinenga became property of the nobles Marchesi di Gresy in 1797: Alberto di Gresy spent his childhood in this building, by learning to appreciate that soil and its products. Alberto began the wines’ production of Tenuta Cisa Asinari of Gresy in 1973, starting from the lines, that at the beginning were used by other people, up to a real wines’ production.
Today the cave produces excellent wines that are exported in all the world.
