Barbaresco docg Martinenga Marchesi di Gresy 2020

The Barbaresco Martinenga by Marchesi di Gresy winery is an intense and elegant red wine made with 100% of Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Martinenga cru in the Barbaresco hills. It has a bright and luminous ruby red color, with orange reflections; its bouquet is fruity and floral with notes of ripe cherry, violet and plum. The taste is complex, balanced, pleasant and harmonious. The Barbaresco Martinenga by Marchesi di Gresy is a perfect to accompaine tagliatelle with meat sauce, roast or braised meat, game and well-seasoned cheeses.

The estate Martinenga became property of the nobles Marchesi di Gresy in 1797: Alberto di Gresy spent his childhood in this building, by learning to appreciate that soil and its products. Alberto began the wines’ production of Tenuta Cisa Asinari of Gresy in 1973, starting from the lines, that at the beginning were used by other people, up to a real wines’ production.
Today the cave produces excellent wines that are exported in all the world.
