Pinot Nero "Festival" Cantina Produttori Merano Burggräfler 2016

The Pinot Nero of the “Graf” selection of the Cantina Produttori Merano Burggrafler after aging in barriques or used oak barrels, shows at sight a brilliant ruby ​​red with garnet shades. In the nose, you can perceive fruity and intense aromas with notes of berries, cherry and carnation. On the palate it is round, harmonious, with soft tannins and a long and persistent final. It is a perfect wine to drink in combination with roast duck, roast or braised red meats and the typical cold cuts of Trentino Alto Adige.

The Produttori Merano Burggräfler winery was founded in 2010 and it is the result of the merger of two traditional cooperatives of winemakers of Merano, the winery Vini Merano and the winery Burggräfler. The territory of Merano is a productive area that, thanks to the mountaintop of three thousand meters of altitude of altitude covered with snow and the mediterranean vegetation, has different terrains and microclimate peculiarities. Noble red wines and elegant white wines come from this area.
