More info

The Barolo Serralunga of Rivetto is an elegant and very well structured red wine, made with grapes cultivated with certified biological methods.

On view it shows an intense ruby red color with great orange nuances.

Its bouquet is that it gets off is various and complex with floral and fruity smells of  rose, violet and ripe red fruits, on a spiced background.

With a good aging potential, sweet and fine tannins characterize it.

This Barolo is velvety in mouth and it is excellent if drunk with traditional Piedmontese courses like homemade tagliolini with Bra sausage but also, more generally, with red meat courses.

Manufacturer

The Rivetto winery was born in 1902 in Montaldo Scarampi near to the city of Asti; initially it was a small shop of grapes and wines exchange. Only in 1922, with the transfer to Alba the winery started the production of quality wines. Today, the winery is carried on by the fourth generation in the person of Enrico Rivetto, following the philosophy of respect for the environment, using biological methods without the use of synthetic chemicals.
