The Dolcetto d’Alba of Marchesi di Gresy winery is an excellent expression of a classic red wine for the whole meal. It shows a brillant red-violet color; it has an intense vinous perfumes in addition to a slight grassy note, with hints of mixed berries and cherry. The taste id fresh and harmonic, with a typical slightly bitter aftertaste of the Dolcetto wine. With a great structure, it is perfect if drunk in combination with starters and juicy first courses.
The estate Martinenga became property of the nobles Marchesi di Gresy in 1797: Alberto di Gresy spent his childhood in this building, by learning to appreciate that soil and its products. Alberto began the wines’ production of Tenuta Cisa Asinari of Gresy in 1973, starting from the lines, that at the beginning were used by other people, up to a real wines’ production.
Today the cave produces excellent wines that are exported in all the world.
