The Barolo del Comune di Monforte d'Alba by Domenico Clerico is a red wine of great prestige and refinement, produced with pure Nebbiolo grapes from the finest vineyards of Monforte d'Alba. In appearance, it shows an intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections suggesting complexity. On the nose, it reveals an enveloping and complex bouquet, characterized by deep notes of ripe red fruits such as cherries, plums, and raspberries, enriched by floral hints of violet and rose, on a slightly spicy background. On the palate, it stands out for its elegant and full-bodied structure, with well-integrated tannins and a fresh acidity that balances its power. The taste is enveloping and persistent, with a pleasant minerality. The Barolo del Comune di Serralunga by Domenico Clerico is perfect to be enjoyed with traditional Piedmontese dishes such as braised meats, ragù-filled agnolotti, or aged cheeses. With good aging potential, it can also be appreciated on its own to celebrate special moments.

Today, Domenico Clerico Winery is one of the most renowned in Piedmont, with approximately 21 hectares of vineyards producing a total of 110,000 bottles annually. The estate-owned vineyards are located in some of the best crus of the Barolo production area, including the Ginestra cru, the source of some of their most prestigious wines. The production philosophy is characterized by a balance between tradition and innovation, always striving to produce wines that best express the character of the territory and the grape variety. Vinification is carried out using modern methods and state-of-the-art equipment, but with a profound respect for traditional techniques. Wines produced by Domenico Clerico Winery are renowned for their elegance, complexity, and longevity. From Barolo to other varieties such as Dolcetto and Barbera, each wine reflects the passion that characterizes the work of the estate.
