The Langhe Nebbiolo Capisme-e by dOmenico Clerico aims to be the introduction to the world of Nebbiolo. Produced with grapes grown in the Monforte area, it presents a beautiful ruby ​​color with garnet reflections. On the nose it is striking for its fresh, intense and persistent bouquet, with fruity and floral hints reminiscent of blueberries and wild strawberries, and light spicy notes on the finish. The taste is dry, warm and soft, with notes of freshness and tannicity. With a long and persistent finish, the Langhe Nebbiolo Capisme-e by Domenico Clerico finds ideal companions in tagliolini with sausage sauce, fondue ravioli, red meat dishes and medium-aged cheeses.

In 1976, Domenico Clerico began to appoach to the world of wine. During those years, Domenico's father cultivated vineyards which he later sold to the Barolo Cooperative Winery. In 1981, Domenico decided to purchase a new plot of land, as at that time it was much more advantageous to vinify grapes:in this way he began to expand the company. Today, Domenico Clerico Winery is one of the most renowned in Piedmont, with approximately 21 hectares of vineyards producing a total of 110,000 bottles annually. The estate-owned vineyards are located in some of the best crus of the Barolo production area, including the Ginestra cru, the source of some of their most prestigious wines. The production philosophy is characterized by a balance between tradition and innovation, always striving to produce wines that best express the character of the territory and the grape variety. Vinification is carried out using modern methods and state-of-the-art equipment, but with a profound respect for traditional techniques.
