The Monte Colombo Barbera d’Asti by marchesi di Gresy is made with grapes coming from the homonymous vineyards collocated in the district of Cassine, in the province of Alessandria. This Barbera wine is produced only in the best years and it shows an intense ruby red colour. In the nose it emanates a smell of various, fruited and fragrant bouquet, with scents of currants, mature blackberries and cherries. Furthermore, it is a well-structured wine, with an intense and warm taste, but at the same time elegant, fresh and balanced. The Monte Colombo Barbera d'Asti is perfect in combination with roasts, flavourful first courses, soups, lasagne and medium seasoned cheeses.
