Sauvignon doc Pepi Cantina Tramin 2021

Sauvignon Pepi by Tramin winery is a fragrant and intense white wine produced with grapes grown in the areas of Penon and Pinzon, famous for Sauvignon vineyards. The eye catches a beautiful straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. the nose floral, with notes of elder and nettles and a background of exotic fruit, such as mango and papaya. The taste is intense, fresh and aromatic, pleasantly sapid. The Sauvignon Pepi by Cantina Tramin is ideal when served with white meat or fish, savory vegan pies or fresh cheeses with herbs.

The Tramin winery located in Termano in Trentino Alto Adige, was founded in 1889 thanks to the idea of Christian Schrot to give support to mountain winemakers. In a short time the company Tramin became a cooperative winery in which 160 families participate today.
The main stages that have marked the history of the winery are:
- In 1971 the Tramin company merges with the winery of Egna and it acquired the prestigious land in Mazzon and Glen dedicated to Pinot Noir
- In the 90s thanks to the cooperation with the enologist Willi Stürz begins the production of the Selection wines
- In 2010 the new headquarters of winery was inaugurated, which has become a symbol of Termeno in 2018, Epokale was launched; it is the Gewürztraminer that for the first time was awarded the 100/100 Parker points by Wine Advocate.
Over time, Cantina Tramin has become one of the most prestigious wineries in Trentino Alto Adige, with an annual production of 1.9 million bottles.
