More info

Roero Ciabot San Giorgio Riserva by Negro Angelo is a great wine made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes. It takes the name from the ancient old house on the top of a hill in Monteu Roero village, that was used as shelter for tools in the past. The wine has the typical intense ruby red colour and the bouquet is intense and fruity, with scents of pe ach and red fruits. The balsamic note is perceivable in the end. The sip is warm, sweet and fruity, the tannin is persistent and well balanced. Roero Riserva Ciabot San Giorgio is perfect to drink with grilled red meat, game, stuffed main courses and game.

Negro Angelo e Figli

The cave is settled on the Roero’s hills, in Monteu Roero, and it is collocated in a favourable position for the vineyards’ plantation. The winery was established by Giovanni Domenico Negro in the far 1670: at the time Giovanni had a big country house in the locality of Sant’Anna. In the course of the time the cave has developed and it has begun to increase: in fact today the wine makers work on a surface of 45 hectares of vineyards. Nowadays the cave is able to combine tradition and modernity, by earning excellent results.
