Barbera d’Alba with an intense ruby red colour and yellow-crowned nuances, it owns intense and fresh perfumes, with hints of mature red fruit, plum, blueberry and sweet spices. The taste is elegant and soft, while it is also endowed with a good acidity and freshness; in fact it accompanies perfectly red meats and medium or long seasoned cheeses.

The cave is settled on the Roero’s hills, in Monteu Roero, and it is collocated in a favourable position for the vineyards’ plantation. The winery was established by Giovanni Domenico Negro in the far 1670: at the time Giovanni had a big country house in the locality of Sant’Anna. In the course of the time the cave has developed and it has begun to increase: in fact today the wine makers work on a surface of 45 hectares of vineyards. Nowadays the cave is able to combine tradition and modernity, by earning excellent results.
