More info

Farfalla Rosé by Ballabio is a Classic Method Rosé sparkling wine, produced using 100% Pinot Noir grapes. After careful selection and gentle pressing of the grapes, it undergoes refinement in stainless steel tanks on its own yeasts. The cuvée assembly is made using 80% vintage wines and 20% reserve wines refined in temperature-controlled stainless steel in order to impart complexity and uniqueness. With its delicate salmon pink color and fine persistent bubbles, Farfalla Rosé Ballabio is enchanting to the eye. On the nose, its bouquet is fresh and delicate, particularly elegant with notes of small red fruits, wildflowers, and citrus. On the palate, it is fragrant, characterized by pleasant acidity and freshness. Pleasantly creamy, with a clean and vibrant finish that leaves a lasting impression, Farfalla Rosé by Ballabio is perfect for any celebration or special occasion. It is ideal to be enjoyed chilled as an aperitif or paired with light appetizers, seafood dishes, or salads.

Manufacturer

The Ballabio Winery is one of the most important realities in the Oltrepò Pavese region and is a reference point for the sparkling wine world. Since 1905, when Angelo Ballabio founded the company, it has pursued a viticultural path aimed at producing distinctive and high-quality wines. Currently owned by Filippo Nevelli and his son Mattia, the winery boasts an area of 48 hectares with an annual production of 100,000 bottles. In the vineyard, work is meticulous and scrupulous, with very low environmental impact, without the use of pesticides and herbicides, in the utmost respect for biodiversity and the natural characteristics of the soil.
The winemaking process begins with the careful selection of the best grapes, harvested by hand during the harvest to ensure maximum quality. Grapes from each vineyard are pressed and vinified separately, in order to respect the characteristics of each terroir.
Ballabio wines, all classic method sparkling wines, stand out for their elegance, structure, longevity, and aromatic complexity.
