Alta Langa Brut Cinquecento Vite Colte 2017

The Alta Langa Brut of Vite Colte winery is a vintage sparkling wine made with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes harvested manually and cultivated in the hills of Cuneo at an altitude of 500-600 meters on land of marine origin. It shows a pale straw yellow color with a fine and persistent perlage. In the nose it is fragrant, with a very fresh and delicate bouquet that remembers notes of yeast, crisp citrus, floral essences and shades of dried fruit. The taste is elegant, decidedly fresh and creamy. The Alta Langa Brut of Vite Colte is ideal to drink with elegant courses of the Piedmontese tradition, in particular with fondue with white truffle, vegetable flans, Parmesan cheese and grilled fish.

The winery Vite Colte, called Terre da Vino since 2016, is a cooperative winery that was born in the town of Barolo in the 80s, including about 300 hectares of vineyards in the Langhe and Monferrato. It produces exclusively Piedmontese wines such as Barbera d'Asti, Moscato d'Asti, Barolo and Barbaresco  which are aged at controlled humidity and then bottled in an innovative production plant, where works of art of tourist interest are exhibited. Quality is the goal of the winegrowers and growers who, thanks to their knowledge of the area, are able to make the Piedmontese wine culture stand out all over the world.
