Vermouth Rosso Contratto

The Vermouth Rosso of Contratto winery is a liqueur wine stands out for the high quality of white wine and the careful selection of herbs and spices, including cinnamon, ginger, carnation and orange peel. At sight, it shows an excellent red color, while at nose it reveals complex hints of herbs and spices that continue on the palate ensuring great balance and freshness. It is excellent served in cocktail blended with Tonic Water, Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer.

The Contratto winery  was founded by Giuseppe Contratto in 1867. The winery is known like the oldest wine producer of sparkling wines in Italy . The winery has a long and prestigious history : it exported wines all over the world , mainly in real families and also it was also the Vatican personal supplier. It received, with the passage of time, various awards and medals and has always been synonymous of prestige and quality in the world of sparkling wines . Today the Contract winery is conducted by Giorgio Rivetti of Spinetta winery: he and his team want support the quality of Contratto’s wines, proud to bring back this winery to the old glory This winery was declared a Unesco Human Heritage sit.
