Description

The Barbera d’Alba Dina doc is an authentic and versatile Piedmontese red wine, produced by Negro Angelo e Figli in the heart of the Roero region. Made from 100% Barbera grapes grown on clayey soils with sandy veins and south-southwest exposure, it fully expresses the character of its terroir. In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red color with violet reflections, while on the nose it opens with fresh and fragrant aromas of plum, sour cherry, and blueberry. On the palate, it is soft and harmonious, with a pleasant acidity that enhances its freshness and drinkability. Ideal served at 16–18 °C (60–64 °F), it pairs perfectly with cold cuts, medium-aged cheeses, pasta with meat sauce, risottos, and white meats, making it suitable for both casual lunches and more structured dinners. The Barbera d’Alba Dina is an excellent expression of Piedmontese Barbera: elegant, approachable, and with remarkable value for money, it is a wine that brings Piedmontese tradition directly to the table.
