Description

Le Grive Monferrato DOC 2024 is a red wine of great elegance produced by the Forteto della Luja winery, made primarily from Grignolino and Barbera. This Monferrato DOC stands out for its freshness, lightness, and deep aromatic profile, offering a balanced and enjoyable tasting experience. In the glass, it shows a bright ruby red color. On the nose, aromas of fresh red fruits, such as cherry and strawberry, emerge, accompanied by delicate spicy and floral notes typical of Grignolino. On the palate, it is light, harmonious, and fruity, with soft tannins and a pleasant freshness that makes it easy to drink, ideal even for informal occasions. Le Grive by Forteto della Luja is perfect when paired with cured meats, traditional Piedmontese first courses, white meats, and soft cheeses, and is also excellent served slightly chilled on warmer days.
