Pale pink
Rich and citrusy
Complex and fresh
The Rosato Nervi by Giacomo Conterno, produced at the historic Nervi winery in Gattinara (Piedmont) under the expert guidance of Roberto Conterno, is an elegant and refined Nebbiolo in rosé style. The Nebbiolo grapes are fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel after a brief maceration (about 8–12 hours) with the skins, to impart the wine with color elegance and lively aromatic expressiveness. Its color is a delicate, crystalline pale pink, gentle to the eye and promising freshness. On the nose, it impresses with a broad and fresh bouquet, featuring citrus notes—especially grapefruit—and delicate floral hints like rose and carnation. On the palate, it is rich and vibrant, pleasantly fresh: the acidity is lively, the flavor profile clean and remarkable, supported by light, well-integrated tannins and accompanied by a fruity and floral persistence. With a fresh and savory character, the Rosato Cantine Nervi by Giacomo Conterno is ideal served chilled as an aperitif or paired with shellfish, delicate white meats, and platters of cured meats and young cheeses. It should be served fresh, between 10 and 12 °C.
