The Roero Prachiosso of the Negro Angelo e Figli winery is produced with Nebbiolo grapes grown in calcareous and sandy terrains, on the hills around Monteu Roero. The Roero Pracchioso of Negro Angelo has a nice intense ruby red color; the nose is elegant, fine and fruity, with hints of strawberry, rose and raspberry. The mouthfeel is well balanced and structured, with a tannic ending. It is a great wine to drink in combination with meat dishes, game and aged cheeses.

The cave is settled on the Roero’s hills, in Monteu Roero, and it is collocated in a favourable position for the vineyards’ plantation. The winery was established by Giovanni Domenico Negro in the far 1670: at the time Giovanni had a big country house in the locality of Sant’Anna. In the course of the time the cave has developed and it has begun to increase: in fact today the wine makers work on a surface of 45 hectares of vineyards. Nowadays the cave is able to combine tradition and modernity, by earning excellent results.
