Description

The Barolo Riserva 2000 of Borgogno is produced with Nebbiolo grapes that come from the best wine yards winery: Liste, Cannubi, Cannubi San Lorenzo, Fossati and San Pietro delle Viole, situated in the Barolo district. With a classic and natural style, produced with traditional procedures, this wine shows a great ruby red color with orange reflexes. It has an intense and complex bouquet with floral aroma of violet and rose and fruity notes of raspberry and wild strawberry, in addition to licorice and black pepper scents. The taste is soft, refined, round, persistent and with a good tannicity that make it strong and pleasantly. It is perfect if drunk with red meat, game and aging cheeses. Thanks to its great structure, this wine owns a good capacity of aging.
