More info

The Langhe Rosso doc Arte Domenico Clerico is a red wine obtained with Nebbiolo and Barbera grapes. On view it shows a limpid ruby red color. Its smell is intense and persistent; it develops fruity and floral aromas, with notes of dried violet, cherry and blackberry, vanilla, bitter cocoa and tobacco. In mouth, it is dry and warm, endowed with a good structure. With a long and persistent final, it combines perfectly with red meats, game and aged cheeses.

Domenico Clerico

Domenico Clerico, the present owner of this cave, began to approach to wine’s world in 1976: in those years his father cultivated some vineyards, that he sold to the Social Cave of Barolo. In 1981 Domenico decided to purchase a new plot of land, because at the time it was more convenient the wine making: in this manner he began to enlarge the winery. Today the cave counts about 21 hectares of vineyards, that allow Domenico to sell 90 000 bottles each year.
