More info

Nebbiolo d'Alba Mirinè by Paolo Manzone is produced with Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Municipality of Sinio, 400 meters above sea level. This is an excellent case of the meticulousness and scrupulousness adopted both in the vineyard and in the cellar. In the glass it shows a beautiful deep ruby red color. In the nose, the bouquet is wide and composite, with hints of wild berries and rose hips that alternate with herbaceous and balsamic notes. Thanks to the 12-month aging in oak tonneaux, the sip is elegant and complex, with important tannins, pleasantly persistent and well structured. Nebbiolo d'Alba Mirinè by Paolo Manzone is recommended with important main courses, such as stews and braised red meat, game.

Manufacturer

The Paolo Manzone winery is a beautiful family-run Agricultural Holding that has about 15 hectares of vineyards in the municipalities of Sinio, Serralunga d'Alba and Roddino. Paolo Manzone was an oenological consultant of important wineries in the Langhe for many years; in 1999, together with his wife Luisella, he decided to renovate an old farmhouse owned in Meriame in Serralunga d'Alba and started  his own winery. The small annual production of 80,000 bottles of Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba, Nebbiolo and Barolo allows Paolo Manzone to personally follow all the different production steps. The cultivation of the vine, the harvest and the selection of the grapes are done by hand, in order to guarantee the highest quality and to preserve all the organoleptic characteristics. In the cellar the work is scrupulous and carefully overseen; thanks to a correct vinification and a slow refinement, important wines are made. They are expression of the best quality in full respect of tradition and the territory. Among the labels that bear the signature of Paolo Manzone we mention the Barolo "Meriame", the Barbera "Fiorenza" and the Nebbiolo "Miriné"
