The Riesling Dornleiten Privat Reserve of Nigl winery is a superb white wine made with Rhine Riesling grapes, farmed on the Danube banks, near to Vienna.
On view, it shows a brilliant straw yellow color, while at nose it release characteristic scents of green apple and herbs.
In mouth, it is mineral with a well-balanced acidity and an unusual persistence.
With a great elegance, it is excellent if drunk with fish dishes, crustaceans, risotto with seafood and medium seasoning cheeses.
Manufacturer
The Nigl winery is located on the Danube River hundred kilometers far from Vienna. Martin Nigl, which was the founder with his family, cultivate the vineyards following natural and integrated methods. The Nigl wines are very peculiar thanks to the high percentage of granite in the terrain and the climate, mitigated by Danube. The harvest is handmade and can last for over a month. All wines are made in steel, for accentuate the natural grapes expression.
