Langhe Chardonnay doc Massolino 2017

The Langhe Chardonnay of Massolino is made with Chardonnay grapes cultivated on the hills around Serralunga d’Alba, in the heart of the Langhe region. The Chardonnay of Massolino is a white wine with an interesting personality; it has a great pale yellow color and intense signs of ripe fruit, accompanied by a refined mineral note. In mouth it is round and well structured, with a final of good persistence. This wine is perfect if drunk in combination with sea fishes and some river fishes as the trout.

Since 1881 the Pio Cesare’s cave represents the excellent tradition of Piedmont. It is the story of a family that safeguards the style of a Barolo, today very famous in the world, and also exported in more than 40 countries, with the same label that Pio Cesare wanted. Even now we follow the classical interpretation of the Barolo, that is engage our existence in creating wines that are able to exalt the territory.
