More info

The Gattinara Tre Vigne by Travaglini Giancarlo is produced with Nebbiolo grapes sourced from three particularly renowned and very different historic vineyards, which are blended during fermentation. After aging for 5 years, partly in Slavonian oak barrels and partly in barriques, a full-bodied and intense wine is obtained, with an ancient garnet red color and orange reflections, delicately transparent. Its aroma is fruity with hints of jam, cherry, and strawberry. Balsamic sensations are added with notes of cloves, licorice, and quinine. On the palate, it is full-bodied, warm, and extremely elegant. Produced only in the best vintages, the Gattinara Tre Vigne by Travaglini is a perfect wine to accompany meat-based main courses, such as roast or game, and aged cheeses.

Manufacturer

Giancarlo Travaglini

The Travaglini winery is a prestigious family-run business founded in 1958 by Giancarlo Travaglini and now managed by his daughter Cinzia, together with her husband, the enologist Massimo Collaudo. This winery is considered one of the most famous and important production reality of the DOCG Gattinara; it has always been committed to obtain wines of absolute quality, respecting the territory and tradition. The wines are preserved in a special bottle designed by Giancarlo Travaglini, whose shape was designed to retain the sediments when the wine is being poured in the glass.
