Gattinara docg Travaglini Giancarlo 2020

The Gattinara by Giancarlo Travaglini is an excellent red wine produced with Nebbiolo grapes grown in the heart of the hills of Gattinara. After the aging for 4 years, it shows a nice garnet- red color and elegant and incisive aromas, with notes of red fruits and sweet spices. It is a full-bodied wine, energetic and elegant, with a good structure and minerality. The Gattinara by Giancarlo Travaglini is excellent to drink with first courses with meat sauces, roasts or game. It is also excellent with blue cheeses.

The Travaglini winery is a prestigious family-run business founded in 1958 by Giancarlo Travaglini and now managed by his daughter Cinzia, together with her husband, the enologist Massimo Collaudo. This winery is considered one of the most famous and important production reality of the DOCG Gattinara; it has always been committed to obtain wines of absolute quality, respecting the territory and tradition. The wines are preserved in a special bottle designed by Giancarlo Travaglini, whose shape was designed to retain the sediments when the wine is being poured in the glass.
